1- Don't Panic!
We know, when we stumble upon something like this it can be very stressful, take a breath, and stay calm.

2- Don't Attempt DIY
Please wait until a qualified professional can attend to assess the situation. Often when people find them in a panic they spray them with a product. If you already have, that's ok, just let us know. If your pest professional cannot attend for a few days, please be patient. It's unlikely that  much more if any further damage will occur between then. The termites, have more than likely been there for months at least- a few days won't change much at this point.

3- Put the tools down
Try not to disturb them or the area anymore. Cover the area back over if it is exposed. It can actually make treating them more difficult if we scare them away!
